Jarrod Connolly

Growing up Jarrod was into sports. Primarily hockey and whatever other sports he was able to fit into his packed schedule.  Being introduced to guitar at thirteen by his brother and close friend, Jarrod took an old beat up silver tone hand-me-down and began to strum power chords. Punk rock bands like social distortion and dropkick Murphy's were some names that started Jarrod's passion for music.  Still involved in competitive hockey until his early twenties, guitar grew to become an escape from the pressures and politics of competitive athletics for Jarrod and soon became his passion and main focus.  Once The Mudslingers were born, a new passion was as well.

Working as a plumber now, Jarrod understands the real blue collar world and has respect for the people that grind their jobs everyday to provide for loved ones and family.

Jarrod's  aspiration for the Slingers is to provide the escape, release, motivation, and relaxation that music has gifted him with.  Jarrod likes nothing more than having a few cold ones on a Friday with friends and family and the occasional round of golf while listening to a wide range of music from Eric Church to Social Distortion, Mellancamp to Aldean, Clapton to Fleetwood Mac.
